Desiree & Jesse's Late Summer Wedding | Harrington Farm Princeton, MA
Desiree & Jesse got married on the most beautiful summer day at the end of August. After meeting in high school and feeling an instant chemistry, they had grown their love for fast cars and great food for several years together! Jesse proposed on a hill top over looking the city of Leominster, so its no surprise they chose a venue with amazing views! Harrington Farm is such a beautiful venue all around, and there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops to use on their property!
When I arrived at the venue, the bride and her bridesmaids were already pampered and putting on the finishing touches. This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, those final moments of beautifying with the people who mean so much to you. Its one of the last quiet moments you get on your wedding day, before all the excitement really gets going!
While I was capturing some details with the ladies, I sent my second my second shooter, Shayna of Simply Beloved Photos, over to capture some portraits of the groom and groomsmen. I love the way she captured their fun personalities and relationships!
Desiree & Jesse had a First Look on the lawn at Harrington Farm surrounded by their wedding parties. We were able to focus on couple portraits and get some group shots in before the ceremony, which I am always a fan of. The cocktail hour can be chaotic once all the guests arrive so I am a big fan of getting as many formal portraits done ahead of time as possible. (Plus, if you’ve ever been in a wedding you know there is something about the cocktail hour that makes the hunger set in!)
The ceremony began at 6:00 pm on August 30th. Why do I share this? If you love the lighting in their ceremony and cocktail hour images, timing matters! I could not have asked for a prettier sunset while we were doing more couple’s portraits!
